We Shoot. You Pledge. Everyone Wins.
Archers For Change is a group of archers who have decided to use our passion to help others. We are currently in the process of setting up a fundraising network that will use national and local archery tournaments as a venue to raise funds for charities. Each archer chooses an organization to shoot for and then signs up for a tournament to compete at. Basically, it'll be like a "jog-a-thon" but instead participants pledge based on an archer's performance. After the competition the scores are added up, pledges are fulfilled, and we are able to write a big check to the charities we are shooting for!
Promoting The Sport Of Archery
Archers For Change will also focus on promoting and raising awareness of the wonderful sport of competitive archery. Did you know that archery has a international World Cup that competes year round? Did you know that there are dozens of national competitions in the USA every year? Archery is a HUGE sport supported around the world by just about every country ... and it's gaining popularity. We want to create a public face to showcase and introduce this incredible sport to a whole new generation of young archers. With popular movies like The Hunger Games and shows like Arrow, archery has become very visible and we'd like to help get bows in the hands of as many people as possible.

Within the next week we will have our social media all in place (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, ect.) So PLEASE stay tuned, visit back, and help us grow by becoming followers as we expand. The main site will be going live by mid-week (Dec. 10th) and will be filled with more info on the organizations we are supporting, AFC Archer Bios, information on the pledge system, and details on the competitions we are sending our archers to in the next few months.
